Stephanie has recently relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina and is currently instructing and training
under the name Storybrooke Farms at several locations in the area. She is capable of coaching all levels but adores
teaching children! Her objective is to provide children and amateur owners with competitive partners who are confident,
safe, and athletic. Storybrooke pupils compete at all levels of shows from schooling
to the ‘A’ Circuit.
Stephanie was raised by a professional dressage trainer in
eastern Michigan, and has competed successfully for more than 18 years in Hunter/Jumper and Dressage. She is a former Pony Club member with C-1 rating and rode for her high school equestrian team in addition
to competing on the Michigan Appaloosa Circuit. During her junior years she worked as a show groom and assistant trainer for
a welsh pony farm and has knowledge, understanding, and experience training horses and ponies for carriage driving. Stephanie
is also a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (ESMT), works as a Veterinary Technician and plans to attend Veterinary
School in the future. Safety and horsemanship are top priorities in every aspect of her training. She her philosophy
places emphasis on developing a strong rider as well as a solid foundation for horses of every discipline; to instill confidence
and evince kindness, with a will that is calm yet inflexible. She welcomes all disciplines.
