Lizzy Kramer is a dynamic instructor who
brings the belief that both horse and rider benefit from an enthusiastic, creative atmosphere.
Her teaching and training is based in the classical, centered riding philosophy & is customized to focus on each
rider’s personal goals. Riding experiences include: childhood horses in
the hunter, open, western, & 4-H arenas, Dressage with an older sister in Italy, AQHA circuit, NCHJA & NCDCTA. Continuing to work with horses while attending NC State University she began a part-time
free-lance training service. Following graduation from NCSU, Lizzy began traveling
to private farms / homes in the Triangle area to work with riders of all levels as well as their horses. In 2003 she teamed up with Harward Farms in Swift Creek,
NC as the private lessons instructor & breeding program trainer. Her passion for working with horses and riders led to enrollment in Meredith Manor International Equestrian
Centre’s Riding Master program for the purpose of achieving Teaching & Farrier certifications. Lizzy graduated from Meredith Manor in August of 2006 with honors & was the recipient of the “Excellence
in Teaching” Award.
Lizzy became a full time, professional
equestrian in 2006 with the creation of L.K. Equine, LLC and began offering equestrian services throughout central North Carolina. Lizzy
is an active member of the horse community and enjoys coaching all levels of riders from beginners to upper level competitors. She believes safety comes first, maintains current CPR & First Aid certifications,
and considers education to be a lifelong process. Lizzy currently resides in
Cary, NC where she &
her young American Quarter Horse “Leos In Trouble” dabble in everything from Dressage to Reining with some jumping
& cross-country thrown in for good measure. L.K. Equine, LLC is currently
offering the following services by Lizzy Kramer: Riding lessons, coaching at horse shows, clinics, farrier, training rides,
competition catch rides, & pre-purchase evaluation services.
